Stroud Green Urban Farm

Our Urban farm at Stroud Green is a little calm oasis in the middle of London.  It is a space for children to learn about where food comes from and they all have a part in growing vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers. We have three chickens called Nugget, Popcorn and HENrietta. They are rescue chickens so are at the end of their laying life. However, we usually get one a day and if it is your birthday and you are in KS2 you get to take one home. Children can also volunteer to come and feed them and look after them in the weekends and holidays.
