Guidance for Homework:

Reading: We ask parents to read with children every evening for 15 minutes - reading is the most important and valuable thing you can do with your child are this stage of their learning. You can read to them, share a book, get them to predict what will happen in a story or get them to decribe a story's events. You can also get your child to read to you for about 10 minutes everyday.

MyMaths: Each week children will be given Maths homework using an online system called Mymaths.  Children have their own login and should complete the online homework set by the teachers.  They can have several attempts at the homework and also watch a follow up lesson if they need additioonal support.  It's vitally important that the children know all their timestables up to 12x12 by the end of Year Three.
